Busy week (again…) this one, so decided to get this done as soon as I could! A pre-Sunday upload maybe a first for me!
Decided to get back on the circuit tracks. Despite its limitations, I do like the workflow and the speed at generating ideas. This riff had been floating around for a while. Wanted to finish it off, but couldn’t think of sections that would go with it, so I’ve basically extended a single riff for 3 mins… Good to get it out there if nothing else!
Circuit tracks, retro futurism sound pack (again… but the synths sound awesome…) on everything except pads - pro-vs-mini taking up that duty. Pretty much one riff all the way through with some layering and using the circuit tracks randomised pattern for a “lead”. Hoping for that 80s synthwave/cyberpunky sound again. I think I need to get better at simplifying things on the circuit - maybe stop adding extra synths and really work with the 2 engines that you get, might help me work out other melodic sections rather than layering.
