DARKCOSMOS

After some medieval experimentation (maybe with more to come) and finishing a project last week, I’m back to semi-generative on the m8 this week.

All done on dirtywave m8, wavsynth throughout (apart from the drums - from DW01 again). Loads of fx and lfos on everything to give it movement. 4 tracks of saw waves to create the ground. 25% sqr with loads of chorus and filtered for the bass. Triangle for arps and a 50% sqr for the lead. The bass and percussion aren’t generative, everything else has randomised notes in the scale (a minor pentatonic) and randomised chance. There is a chord change part but I think it could have been more noticeable. Also might have been good to explore the textures rather than the leads and arps.

Another piece of sci-fi film or game incidental music maybe?

definitely well named. Could definitely also see it as an atmospheric hour long study track

very lush. Evolving patch is perfection.
