This wasn't quite the sound I was after with this piece, but I suck at mastering/post-production, so I just chose the best out of several awful versions...

Great beats and keys--I think there's a lot to work with here. I think the mastering issue might be overcompression--it attenuates the highs on things like your bass, your pads, your drums. (Though cymbals cut through.) Keep trying!
