Micro Disaster (microBrute 6 layers)

By cTrix on July 31, 2016 5:57 pm

MIDI timing errors galore.  This track is largely a disaster in my book.  I spent 80% of the time trouble shooting and quantising recorded waveform where the midi was totally skewed all over the place.  I don't normally use MIDI to program notes to external devices (just use on board sequencers and din sync).  So this was an experiment in piano roll!

Everything (percussion included) done on the Brute.

Really digging the bassline the most. Those short moments of low pass filter in particular. Amazing work on those arps toward the end!!

Excellent work

Not bad for a disaster!

Hah! Those days when you first switch from internal sequencing to piano roll... The story of my life!

Believe me, there's one magic eureka moment when everything is in sync... Until then, you'll move everything by hand wondering how people could work before VSTs smile

Dope bassline and track, as usual
