G'day from LAX international airport! This tune is made entirely from one sample. Sampled from the streets of Mexico City last night: My friend Jeremiah and I were crossing at some traffic lights when we heard this crazy screetching whistle sound. We both froze and looked at each other with a "wtf?!" Our Mexican friends pointed to this old man pushing a very heavy looking steel cart with a chimney on it. Apparently he sells a snack - roasted nuts or something - and that sound announces his arrival! "I have to sample that", was all I could say, and with a grin we set off after the old struggling man and his cart. The sample (played in full at the end of the tune) was actually made from across the road. That is HOW LOUD this whistle is! WOAH - flight bording - just in time! (using phone at $20 a MB on global roam - bloody airport internet dropped out)
