Almost 100% Sequential Circuits prophet 600.... FINALLY got the MIDI working on it.  But the stupid thing drifts in and out of tune all the time, and certain notes are just totally out of tune... then you hit them again and it's in tune.  You can hear the strings in the background losing it a few times :-/  Drums are DR550 and some random kick.

Anyway - it was a jam - hope it was ok.  Started 1am after being at a wedding and filming for 10 hours straight. And 11 hours filming Sat and 16 hours on Friday filming TV comercials.  So tired.... zzzzzzzzz (now 5am sunday)

loving the syncopation man

Oi cunt, come over for beers soon.

Also I am digging this track.

werd, sic drums / prophet600 mix ... It's sounding 80's! Would love to hear more recordings with it smile
(Specially if your using MIDI on it!!) (that would have been a really REALLY early implementation of MIDI on a device as well surely!?)

lol @ Aday: Yup mate!!  It was apparently THE FIRST commercially available synth to implement MIDI!  Even before the standard was fully set in stone. (1982)  http://www.vintagesynth.com/sci/p600.php

love the key change there in the middle

sweet

cool jam!

this has such an amazing sound. Reminds me of the soundtrack to my favourite show as a pre-teen "Press Gang". Rad
