Dub Nut

By cTrix on February 4, 2018 10:39 pm

- Microbrute
- BC16 Modular
- Various samples, breaks and sound effects
- Korg Triton (briefly)

Future Dub - semi combining the dubstep sound with some really fat stuff and more traditional dub roots but played on synths / using rave pads.

Sequenced as a bunch of waveforms in Reaper.  No VSTi's were harmed (or used) in the making of this tune :-P

Oh, and not sure what the last bit is... just a bit of unused waveform that ended up at the end that I turned into something ambient to end the tune!

Would like to thank everyone for continued support and comments.  I've no idea what I'm making musically at the mo, but I'm glad peeps don't hate it.

Oooooh love that PHAT bass dub. Good work!

Crushes with hard sounds. Really cool outro... unexpected. Eclectic mix of gear used as well.

So much going on here!!! big Phat PhutureTjoons!!

SHMILE YORE ON DUBBB NAUGGGGHT!

Sophisticated and wonderful sounds!!!

Please send an image of how the project looked. i want to see at least 1000 edits

super cool. i think the little blurb of melody around the middle was my favorite bit, but all the sound design work was suuper neat

sick!

massive modular display of power

This is just flat-out fun!

Wow!  Reminds me of Amon Tobin!  Huge sounds and gigantic space.  Incredible work!

Definetely! I'm usually quite tired as f**k of (bad) dubstep, and this brings the whole palette of sounds and techniques to interesting fields again. Loving your classic melodies coming briefly in the last third of the song smile

really great to see you going so freely between genres smile
