Digital Twiddling (Korg Triton LE) - Two takes

By cTrix on May 1, 2016 7:53 am

Korg Triton LE and a sample brought into the on-board sampler.  Original plan was to use the on-board sequencer but naaa... too annoying :-P  I used the on board arppeggiator... some with presets ... others with order-of-keys arp op.

Made in about 3 hours.  Mostly played live.  Laid chords down first, piano (2 takes) and bass (2 takes).  Added the drums - combination of a sliced up break and onboard Korg sequence.  Little arp parts on top at end.  All effects / processing on Korg (great Reverbs).  1997 WE ARE BACK!  hehehe

Absolutely gorgeous. I love how the arps and drums dance with each other..

nice, really enjoying those arps and drumz + atmospheric vibes yikes

The section that kicks in about halfway in. I'm swept away.

Love that long, building intro...

Since the beginning of the track is really good!

Also, I like it the piano melodies, sweet!

Damn good. Wonderful atmos smile

Once again, a very different track beautifully played. Very fluid and melodic. Love the arps and layering. I think I hear birds in my left ear, or maybe that's just me smile

Really nice jam... You indeed took me to 1997 in the search of a Korg Z1. Now we can start a flame war about what's best (Yamaha Motif against Korg Triton ... The workstations are back!!!)

Don't get me wrong... I love my DX7... I love the Motif too... but there's something in that silver styling and backlit Korg screen that just pulls me deep.  Korg just takes me to a slightly high 1990's place :-P

Thanks again everyone for the comments :-)
