Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

Ahhh hahaha! I'd forgotten about that moan - it was literally dropped in for lols in the wave editor (it's not in the actual mix) when I was mastering it.

Yaaa, this one is amazing hip hop beat Don't wanna try to use some chip samples? I will try to make up some abstract tunes with gb samples again. Don't think that i will make beats on same level as you, but i will try. Also, do you use ableton?
Wow. Thanks for feedback so far! ... Balloonbear - no, I don't use Ableton. I can use it but I find it very uninspiring and grid locked. I use Reaper. In this case with snapping turned off because the beat drifts around and the timing is always more organic when you position parts by ear. The sine bass is sampled from a function generator (HP 3300A), the chord from Seq Circuits though Moog filter, the metallic things I think were from a Korg MS-10 - the rest is just samples or playing guitar :-)
