Aquaduct II

By cTrix on January 5, 2014 3:08 pm

Not the bright & happy tune I was expecting to produce for week 1...  and way more SUB BASS than intended.  (hehehehe)

This dark jungle/breaks track crossed with guitar totally wrote itself after I found a patch in one of the expansion cards of the Triton.  Acoustic guitar playing skills and sounds a bit rough (close micced with wrong mic), but neh.

Instruments Used:

- Korg Triton w/ Orchestral + EXB-MOSS
- Sequential Circuits Prophet 600
- Yamaha DX7
- Cool Edit Pro tones generator (for sine drops)
- Reaper built in synth (for chorusy arp runs)
- Maton Acoustic (w/ light guage strings)
- Electric guitar + DD3 (for sitar sound)
- Flute
- Vocals

Hope you enjoy and wooohooo...  here we go weekly beats 2014! :-)

ps. While totally different in sound : check out my latest EP if you haven't gotten the chance yet!

^one up

The space is incredible in this one, got lost in the sauce. Breaks were well thought out and logical. Extremely well done!

Perfect tasteful breaks

I really want to be able to drum like this. I've only seen this type of drumming live once. It was fantastic.

Well done, and this guy summed it up perfectly.
