Threw together a techno track, partially to dissect some Operator sounds... but mainly to experiment with different kinds of compression. I've been reading up on it, and decided to try some different things. So yeah, everything is hellishly overcompressed. That's the point. Still don't feel like I have a firm grasp, so I might go back and do something similar for next week.

Hell of a nice kick, very tasty crunchy bass. Digging that ring modulated glissando lead, too.

This is what I had hoped a "CrazyBob" track would sound like!

No ring modulation, actually, just two of the oscillators set to fixed frequency that I automated to sweep at different rates. Sure sounds it, though! And for the bass I used the Operator "Growl Bass" preset and tweaked it some.
