your greatness will silence them all

I've missed the last couple of Weekly Beats. sad I had this ready to go last week but started recording it and realized the song was going to take longer than the time i had left in which to upload it (lol).  Was originally trying to use this in order to focus on writing music, that well, sounds like proper music with chord structure and melody.  I wrote a small melody but it went somewhere else from there.

I rather like the final result and reminds me a lot of something Dan Deacon would write in some ways.

LSDJx1 - light compression/limiting, a miniscule amount of reverb, and a touch of enhanced transient filtering.

I dedicate this song to all the amazing talented people that I've met and those I've yet to meet. You surround me on all sides with amazing collective talent that should be shared with everyone. heart

its not a "standard song" but you have some really creative chord progressions in here.  nice experimenting with accompaniment/melody over the central part too big_smile

Nice melodic.  Cool lead lines.

spry: Yeah I was trying to go for "standard" but that flew out the window real quick. Maybe next week.

NWSPR: Thanks!

Nice smile

fav'd

I like the playful melody.

I was disassembling a boba-fett helmet to this song, it really helped me see it through

I get the Dan Deacon-ness of the track--those layered loops. Really cool.

fun and great it did silence me for a bit. wink

excellent chip track! yeah the second half of the song did sound very Dan Deacon-esque (which is awesome because i love dan deacon heart). Do you have songs up elsewhere on chipmusic.org or noichan?

Nice chord / bass relationship.  Some deep nice bass happening there too

Thanks guys again heart

Parallelis: I don't have anything up elsewhere except Soundcloud I really need to work on recording and finishing tracks faster (something im trying to get accustomed to with this project).
