This is another exploration with the Iris2 plugin I acquired semi-recently. Just kind of picked out a few sounds and played around to get more of a feel of what it can do.

Sweet man, once again you managed to get some really awesome sounds out of that thing. I love that little slidey sound that keeps popping up.
This is really cool. Sounds like there's a lot of space in there to play around and create new ideas.
This is a cool experiment. There is something in that mix of sounds that reminds me of a rainforest maybe on an exotic planet. The combination of sounds you get there is very nice.
I like that image of an alien rainforest. Thanks!

It really does have an impressive array of sounds. I feel like I've still barely scratched the surface of what it can do. It was definitely worth the $10 investment.

Thanks! It was fun to just kind of play with a new toy and just see where it takes you.
longest intro ever...

Track is only 3m47, I have seen longer. .
Well done CosmicCairns. Sounds like a cool tool to have.
This is the kind of track that would work great as cinematic soundtrack with nice landscapes or beautiful images.

I suppose it could serve as an intro. Or perhaps an interlude. Thanks for listening.

It's my first plugin that I've ever tried out and I can definitely see the appeal of them. I think I will always like using physical instruments as well, but I certainly see this as another good tool to have on hand.
This is very Spacemen3-Spectrum-EAR like. a cool cosmic and psychedelic application for 10$. Love it.
This was like the first moments of floating out in space

I can hear that. It was for sure worth the $10 investment.

Thanks! Floating in space sounds fun.
I like this place of space you're getting at here! Getting some great sounds out of that. Great exploration. Has that plugin been fun to work with? I just saw posting that it's free now?!

It's been pretty fun for me. I don't know how it compares to other plugins because as I mentioned elsewhere this is the first one I've ever tried. It was a little adjustment for me using a virtual keyboard, but not anything too crazy. If it's free now I would say it's definitely worth grabbing.
This is your most experimental all electronic composition to date. A nice pice of ambient work somewhere between Tangerine Dream and Brian Eno. Amazing new territories you're branching out into. Makes me think of a space orchestra!

Thanks! I think I'll always have a certain level of draw towards songs with physical instruments and vocals, but dabbling in ambient electronica is fun, too. I'll definitely have to keep it in the mix.
Iris is cool hey! I haven't really used it much to be honest (maybe one song?) but I do own it and have experimented with it. Must put some time aside for it.
Nice to hear quite a different track compared to your ensemble type pieces. Very cool.
The movement the backing tones create throughout the song give it this uniqueness with each section having its own flavor while the sound in the forefront remains very similar throughout the piece. It reminds me of the "trip down memory lane" idea. There is a constant that remains all the while memories come and go.

Thanks! Yeah, I still need to play with it some more, but I'm pretty impressed with it so far. It seems like it has a nice full sound and it's pretty easy to build complete tracks with it. I'll definitely have to explore this direction some more.

Thanks! I kind of started with the sustained sound as the foundation and then just kind of freely played around with other sounds after that.
The synths have a spacey yet organic sound to them. Like they're breathing! Really cool!

Thanks! There are definitely some fun sounds to play with on the iris2.
