Silkwood Lane

I found myself a little pressed for time this week, what with once again being on call at work, so I thought I'd try something a little different.  I began with a couple of simple cello lines.  Then I took bits and pieces of them and layered them in increasingly random ways and tweaked them with varying amounts of effects.  So it starts off pretty normal sounding and gradually gets weirder and more avant-garde as it goes along.

This is excellent. It's nice to hear you busting out the cello and experimenting with it. Thumbs up!

Now there's a person a knows how to finish off a nice cello piece in style - brilliant!

I wasn't expecting that! Pleasantly surprised!

... I hope you do more tracks with your cello.

I do need to show my cello a little more love.  I used it a bit back in week 9, but I'll definitely try to keep it part of the mix in future weeks!

I've always loved the sound of the cello and when you layer it like this it really has a cool effect to it.  Def use the cello more when you can smile  Nice job!
