Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

I started out with a synth line, which I then multi-tracked and offset from itself in various ways over the course of the song to see what kind of new patterns would emerge. Then I layered other parts on top and wound up with a cool little journey I think.

Thanks! I always kind of like a bit of imperfection, but in this one in particular I thought it really fit with the theme of the synth line going off-sync with itself.
