I love the way this track falls into a kind of silence and then fills with all manner of weird sounds. That part was such a wild experience to listen to the first time. Nice work.

Nice, I love sheet metal sounds, they're surprisingly diverse and useful - and it fits in really well with the rain. I agree, making weird sounds is strangely cathartic!

heavenly weird sounds all along the way. this is the most psychedelic song I ever heard. The outcome to survive this on LSD must be smaller than 1%.

Thanks!  That growl is an extension of my vocal run through an effect.  I had just spoken a line and then just held on making a vocal noise for awhile mostly because it sounded weird.

Yeah, I've never had occasion to buy sheet metal before but I couldn't help but instantly notice the weird sounds it made so I knew it was going to have to go into a recording.  I thought it blended well with the rain sounds and that kind of launched the whole track.

Chaotically Relaxing.  Sounds like a good genre.

This is a trip. I love how the addition of the rain sample adds just another piece of randomness on the top. Points for the creativity, for being so out of the box that the box is nowhere to be seen. This is inspiring, this is what music needs to be about. Thank you for that! Also bonus points for the title!

You had a creative week. I love the way many sounds have a fluttering sound to them, in line with the shaking sound of sheet metal. I remember a pop tube, just never thought a childhood toy would become a piece in this track It's cool how silence is used to break sections apart and move into a new phase of...existence?

Thanks!  It's definitely nice to approach things with a no rules/anything goes mentality sometimes.  It's liberating if nothing else.

Thanks!  I've got a few toys I keep around for the sole purpose that they make noise.  I found that pop toob several years ago at some store and it only cost like a dollar so I was sold instantly.  I've used it on a few tracks over the years and it always brings a bit of a surprising element to things I think.

Yay for putting together strange sounds! Fun to record them out in the world, I'll have to do that soon too. Sounds good, nice that it's so subtle, it has calming effect. And stimulating in its randomness. This makes little dusty neurons in my head come alive and peek around.

I really do enjoy found sounds.  I'm always keeping my ears peeled for them.  It's kind of like going on a treasure hunt out in the world and you never know where or when you might find something interesting.

Pretty cool sound collage. The stereo panning is a big part of bringing it to life.  You're the mad scientist of found object sounds! Sounds like you are bending the will of the other instruments to match the piece of metal. What's happening at the end? I really like how it becomes all synthy but follows the same general feel.  Then it beams up mothership!

I was originally going to end it when the rain and shett metal sounds stopped, but then I started having too much fun messing around on the synths to stop so they ended up taking over for the last couple minutes.

This is like a field recording of an alien abduction.  Start out working on the farm in the rain, aliens come, get beamed up, they start conducting tests, transformation from human into alien END.
