Creature of the Blood Moon

By Cosmic Cairns on April 16, 2014 10:50 pm

So there was a lunar eclipse this week, also known as a blood moon.  I was looking upwards as one is wont to do during these situations when a strange object that I can only describe as a whitish squiggly line came flying slowly overhead.  My rational mind tried to attribute it to some sort of litter that had gotten blown way up in the air or a solitary cloud or something.  But there was no wind and no other clouds and it looked really weird.  Kind of like a jellyfish stretched out like a rubber band or something.  It kind of looked alive.  I honestly have no clue what it was, so I guess technically I can say I saw a UFO.  For the purposes of getting inspired to write a song I've decided to assume it's some strange creature that only emerges during the blood moon.

Great vocals, impressive whistling. Very professional mix.

Did I mention that I like it?

Great stuff, CC! I love the somber, mysterious, yet hopeful vibe. The whistles and the ooohhs and aaahhs are great. Soo good.

Great melody and singing skills. Well done!

suhweet old western vibe going on here.  At least that's what I pictured before I read the description smile the vocals sit perfect in the mix, nice job!  *rides off into sunset* smile

Thanks everyone.  I really appreciate your nice comments.

Great sounds and everything sounds crisp. Great vocals and guitar. Liked the feel of this quite a bit!
