Almost Imaginable

By Cosmic Cairns on June 12, 2014 1:57 am

This is a song about... well I guess dreaming about something better.  I tried to take an optimistic tone with it.  We're almost there.  "We'll walk on stars and stretch out time and travel through each others minds."  I started layering on sounds as it goes along to give it a dreamy and weird feel.  Mostly guitars, vocals with effects and a couple tracks of violin for you string enthusiasts out there.

I'd say you were completely successful. Faved.

This is great! Bizarrely, it reminds me of "The Manson Family (An Opera)". I love the sortof glitchy delayed drums, and the obscured final verse...

And yes, I read the tags.

Very cool.  I had to look up "The Manson Family (An Opera)" as I wasn't familiar with it.  I've only listened to the first track so far, but it sounds right up my alley.

Ah, "The Manson Family!" What a great work. You must be one of about 100 people to have the CD (myself included).

Nice epic, feel good track. Great lyrics and melodies, CC!

Trippy track!  I like the whole instrumentation throughout.  It has a beatles-esque trippy feel to it smile  Kaleidoscopic!

love the instrumental part in the middle, especially the guitar sound
