Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

I've played around with lsdj a bit over the years but never finished a song on it, so that was my goal this week. I lost my first idea thanks to a drained flashcart battery, but I started over and managed to make something I'm pretty happy with.

The beat when it comes in is sooo cool, I love how expressive the melody is with all the bends/slides, etc. It was surprising at first as I expect this kind of sound to be pretty "fixed" to each note like in most retro video game music. Killer!
