Caffeine Was Invented by the CIA

I don't drink tea.  Caffeine was invented by the CIA.

Sick! This is chill as F. Great job dude!

Damn man, this is awesome. I like how you doubled and spread the vocals in the chorus, it gives the song a whole other dimension.

wow this just SOUNDS awesome too other than it being a great track.  the quality is so crispy.  living that thumpy kick drum

Thanks!  I was originally unsure about the vocals doubling but it definitely grew on me.  I'm glad it didn't unnoticed!

thanks my man, appreciate the feedback.  glad you liked it.  I've been trying to focus more on the quality of the production instead of obsessing over writing the damn song, which I'll do relentlessly if I don't stop myself.

well the production quality is some of the best on here when it comes to a more "full band style" type of production.  its very well done, and i isnt just saying that bc i know you!

thanks dude that means a lot.  YOU BETTER NOT JUST BE SAYIN' IT JUST TO BE SAYIN' IT

Cute and cozy track, like the contrast between the quite synthetic kick and the other more organic drums, elements and instruments. That muffled guitar solo is a true bliss. Nice track!

Hope you saved that fuckin tone!

I'm glad you noticed the drums; I tried to switch it up a bit this week.  Thanks for the compliments!

Lol I did the best I could...took a picture of the amp knobs and the knobs on my delay pedal.  Other than that it was just my Telecaster through the Fender Super Champ X2 amp mic'd up by the Rode NT1-A.  I'm really happy with the tone I got out of this configuration.

production quality sounds really great. that guitar tone is perfect, I can listen all day. that's awesome that it came from just the Telecaster and the amp ... no pedals? it's like the perfect clean for this track

I slightly used the on-amp reverb effect.  I also used a Joyo Ditial Delay pedal but with the settings so low it sounds more like reverb than delay.  I guess if you listen close enough you can hear the delay pedal.  Either way I'm super happy with the tone I got out of the guitar.

Wow yeah, very crisp production but very warm too. That's hard to attain. Great job!

Wow I absolutely love this guitar tone. I would love to collab with you if you ever would be down one of these weeks. Working with these kinds of sounds would be a privilege. The vocals in this were haunting and intriguing too! Keep it up!

I'd definitely be down to collab one week.  I think that'd be a great exercise for me.

I haven't had the pleasure of listening to Hot Chip, I'll have to give them a listen.  Thanks for the compliments (and favorite!).  That means a lot to me.

These are some good mellow vibes, the minimalistic band sounds amazing.

Thanks for the compliments.  I tried to keep it simple and mellow with this one; seems like achieved that.

WB is cool af; I can already see/hear myself progressing, albeit slowly but surely.

chillaxic

This has me thinking I should actually try rolling back the tone knob on my guitar because it sounds nice in this track. Also, it kind of gives me a very slight "Sleep Party People" vibe, you a fan?
