Uploading halfway through the week because I have a wedding and related activities by the end of the week and I don't want to forget. The last of four remixes this month for metapop. I had a good time remixing these tracks and I will probably continue to enter their remix contests for the rest of the year, I think it's good practice. I definitely want to get more experimental with it though, I worry I'm starting to make the same song over and over again.
Anyway, I liked remixing this one, the vocal stems were cool and made for good chopping.

Parts of this were pure genius! I sense there's a steep learning curve required to make something like this. Can you recommend any intro/tutorials?

It is a lot of putting crazy effects on a sound and resampling it over and over and then taking the best bits and arranging them. You could look into mr bill, frequent, koan sound, and alckemy. Specifically their arrangement tutorials. I was thinking of making a process tutorial soon because I think how I make things is fairly unique.
