Hopeful Thoughts

Hi to all the familiar faces, welcome to all the new ones! Back for another WEEKLY BEATS! Yippee!

Going to try and challenge myself to "create" all the instruments this year.

For this sunvox project, I ran all the generators through WaveShapers, and then Distortions, and then used an LFO in generator mode feeding into a sound-to-control + multicontrol to alter the distortions power. That gives this a bit of a "pulse", and the distortion is using foldback, so it also does some neat things to the harmonics of the start.

Very interesting reminds me of when I have a melody in my head but the noise of my own thoughts are getter in the way of getting out what I have in my head. Keep up the great work 😊

Another Sunvox user! Very interesting sounds in this track! Also good use of reverb. Is the reverb module you're using the default?

wow! Those are some compelling "strings" i loved the sounds and the simple melody against the distortion. very cool welcome back!

Yup, though I've messed with the room size, feedback, and dampening sliders a bit.

Thank you! I put a silly amount of time into making the profile pic every year... but it's 100% worth it.
