Theme for Eastern European Exercise

Still figuring out how I want to use the Soma Pulsar-23. I made several starts with it this week, but had a bit of a challenge turning them into completed things. I tried stepping back a bit and made it collaborate with my Digitakt a bit more in the end.

I rather enjoyed the very wobbly synth from the Prophet I have here.

Bass ended up a bit of a struggle when it shouldn't've: I made a part I liked, but my mixing/EQ were unsatisfying, or I kept making little mistakes when re-recording, and it took much too long to finalise. Still not completely happy on the mix; I think I ended up with too much low frequency content. But I've run out of time to fuss with it more.

The whole track is probably too long, I think should've cropped it around 3min, but eh.

The exercise in question was Bulgarian split squats.

It's still bop. I had a fun time listening. I look forward to more.
