I wanted to write something guitar-focused this week, after two weeks of mostly-electronic tracks, and I struggled a bit early: there were snippets coming but nothing that I was excited about. Fortunately Friday night I came up with a couple bits that compelled me, and Saturday I was able to turn it into a song that I liked

Bass is a bit sloppy but I'm here to write songs, not minutely edit tracks, and there was some vibe in this take that I enjoyed despite a few slightly flubbed notes.

Jazzmaster, Bass VI, Digitakt II, and some post-processing through CB Clean and DBA Rooms.

The guitar is very nice and I like that clap/slap.

love it! love the vibe. great job

Atmospheric, western a little bit... Digs on the slightly offset percussion for kicks/claps, it's groovy

Thanks! That clap was one of the stock sounds on my digitakt; I usually try to avoid them but this one snuck in.

Thanks! I love offset percussion bits, they give skittery feelings I enjoy.
