I needed a little more dirt and destruction in my songs. Also, this was the first week I had to struggle to come up with something, so it's more spontaneous and less constructed than usually. English lyrics this time, although they're on the short side.

So yeah, another song dealing with 2013 which was a f***ed up year as far as I'm concerned! Thanks for your feedback guys.

Personally i like this "less contructed" and more unpredictable structure very much. And you have nicely messed around with beat reapeat (isn't it?)!

Thanks! Yeah, it was the beat repeat - not the most original effect I admit but it does the job. I hope that the 52 week challenge will let me experiment a lot and find out what way of music making is the most fun and also doable (as in, compatible with life). I also really want to play live but have not been able to do so. Live improvisation is maybe more possible than singing songs with harmonies and such. But I'm droning... by the way... somebody should make a song about drones... :-)

Good stuff!

What's the oscillator at the beginning?

Aalto. Love that one for rhythmic wobbling.
