Sketch from the Oort Cloud, II

Maybe it's a copout, but here is another way to the Oort Cloud (see my previous submission for description and what the heck). These are 10 or so lute notes slowed down by about factor 9 (plus EQ, comp, reverb, all by Ableton/Reaktor). Makes a pretty atmosphere and gives rise to unexpected violin-y tones, as well as weird snare and buzz tones. My next expedition to this cloud will use granular drive.

SLowwwwwww motionnnnnnnnn. Dig it!

Yes, paulstretch (part of Audacity, and free). This is a wonderful example of creative use of minimal materials!

Fascinating rhythms (slow ones) that arise from this exercise. And pleasantly, not even an overly annoying typical-stretch sound.

Far from a cop-out. Great transformation of the lute.

I thought you were on Paulstretch also... Really the textures sound reaktor-ish but quite in your line. Really nice exploration and sound design. Curious about you mixing lutestreched pads with actual unprocessed strings, maybe
