part of my goals for this weeklybeats thing is to write songs and not try to get them perfect. i usually spend a long time on fine tuning. so this is a song that's done in the sense that it contains the core - what i want to say. i could "produce" it better and maybe i will in the future, but for now, here it is.

i had the verse for a long time. did the chorus and the putting-it-together after hanging out at the bar with a friend and walking home late at night.

Great work man. Would really like to commend your effort to focus more on the lyrical and vocal parts in song creation. At least for me, that's the real challenging part since it requires intent -- and is not just a twiddling around with knobs to get the right feel of a sound or track. Thanks for sharing.
