routine

it's funny but i really got into a routine doing weekly beats this year. it's not what i wanted it to be -- the move to Germany has certainly taken away most of my time. but nowadays, i take about an hour per weekend, sit down with guitar and a mic, and record a song. well, it's more of a snapshot. i think that's the biggest slack we're all cut here, to define a song as whatever we want to. true for me at least. anyway, and then without any great prep or post-production, i just record 1 to 8 tracks or so, and call it a submission. it's a surprising way of doing this, even though i wish i had more... you know... more gear, more time, more collaborations, more everything.
anyway, this song is about our past trip to Sweden and how staying with others always confronts you with your own routines.
