never for anyone

By colorful grey on July 27, 2014 7:32 pm

OK, this week was (once again) really difficult to cram music into. We' re in the middle of moving. So this is a lot different and just a little synth riff that I came up with. But I mean the lyrics! All about music philosophy. It took me a while to realize that it's never for anyone.
Thanks for listening!

Nice singing as usual, mate. Nice tiny synth poppy piece smile

"Music is all there is" smile

The pop synth sound is really nice and danceable all by itself, but your voice just totally adds that extra something.  Nicely done.

I love the way the bass line twists around itself. Are you doubling your voice with a vocoder?

Thanks guys! Yes, this is my version of super pop voice, it's pitch corrected and then doubled with octave'd down vocoder plus a silly unison synth.

Thanks friend! Yup, it's *that* important. ... Come to think about it, that's my number one candidate for "album" title... music is all there is...

you philosopher! True words! Nice light and poppy track. I wish you stress-free moving as possible.

The opening synth sound reminded me a bit of Moby's "Running" smile  Nice job on the vocals too!

Totally digging the crisp tightness of the drum machine, and a great vocal line.  Totally enjoyable, and good luck with the move!
