different ways to catch some rays

So here we are at halftime.

I tried some different things... the whole song has two major parts, one consisting mostly of a drone pad (from the great app SrutiBox on iPhone). I had such a great time noodling with this, sitting in the afternoon sun. Later that night, I took up the ole' lute and came up with a pleasant theme, too.

I think the common denominator here is the feeling of peace. I like peace. Thought I'd share.

Peace guys! Had a blast so far, looking forward to the next 26 weeks.

Lute, SrutiBox app, Korg Monotron Delay, Borderlands app, iOS voice memo with a bubbling creek in Wohltorf, Germany.

Wow. The subliminal voice in the background is hypnotizing -- is that also the strange rattling sound behind the lute?

Sublime. I can't describe it any other way. What a way to reach 26!

Thank you guys. I am humbled by your reception. Awesome to know that people listen.

Killer 26! What an awesome track dude. The combination of sounds work like a charm, peace indeed wink

this is quite some impressive shit.

love the strings

Gorgeous. Excellent processing, texture, and structure, and the lute is a wonderful surprise.  Beautiful track!

Verryniice atmospheric blend of analog, organic strings with the digital synth-etics!

I love the atmosphere and desolate vibe of this. Excellent lute ending, too

Thanks, I find the SrutiBox super helpful for additive pads.

Thank you for listening and commenting. Means a lot to me. I wish I could have mixed it better, but I have 26 more weeks to work on those skills I guess :-)

Oh oops! Well.... I find lutes super helpful for plucked strings smile

nice icy/dark atmosphere in the beginning resolving in a warm and comforting acoustic-guitar-outro-part - all is going to be good ... big_smile

Lovely

Hypnotizing!

Really enjoying this more experimental side of your work. Hipnotic atmosphere. It's like floating, man.

Any Krautrock influences over there?

Peace from a quiet corner of Madrid smile

wow this is super hypnotic!  The vocal with the drone pad creates a great effect.  Love the cold to warm feeling in this.  I peacefully zoned out to this smile Great job!
