Sorry

Initially had a different track going but I've been looking into this genre that for some reasons I really like, I wanted to learn how to do it so mid week I started this track that came out ok.. I understand it a little better now and I will definitely be doing more of. For next week I already have what I was working on before doing this one so is going to be more of my 'traditional' bass music.

Hopefully is something that doesn't destroy your system otherwise I'm sorry!! heart

Render straight from the m8

That was really cool! Never heard this genre before, but you definitely got me interested in hearing more smile

Loudspeakers are smoking but the audio doctor says they'll recover just fine! tongue

The faint lead that keeps showing up is sublime and I think it contrasts the rest of the tracks' brashness to perfection

Also I think those are the pluckiest plucks I have ever heard, at the start and mid section.

Not my usual ''style'' of music but I really enjoyed it! Pretty exhilarating track

Level of intensity: higher than high, but also soft and beautiful. Great contrast.

Interesting stuff. What's the genre you've started listening to called?

this is so awesome! drum beat on point, musical breaks and everything sound great! lovely synths, samples, sounds. very good, 10/10

Thanks a lot heart Defintely I made the pluck hit hard using pitch envelope for example, since in the genre is a lot about distorted sounds I went for a maximize everything approach ahahah

Thank youuuuu heart The genre is hyperflip or dariacore, I'm also kind of new to it, honestly it seems it came out of some of the old porter robinson tracks which I loved a lot too, and mixed with random samples chops, heavy distortion, fast tempo and cute melodies, there's quite a range on soundcloud where people throw any kind of drop into a single tune is kind of funny, but there is also some more complex productions to find heart Let me know what you think of it!

No apologies necessary this is awesome! And also beautifully melodic, which I think is important despite a lot of hyperflip I have heard being decidedly not-so. Did you use quick-render > chop it up for this at all? I feel like that could be something really interesting the M8 could add to this genre.

omg this is so cool!! love that lead melody

again you nailed this week !!! this is amazing and powerful !!! love the way you force the frequency's and manege to keep clean and steady !!! well done

Right! I still wanted to inject more of a melodic feel to it, which definitely move this track a bit further from traditional hyperflip. Yes I did that smile First I layed down the main chord progression using a mix of hypersynth, macro for the bass and a sample with vocal elements, pushed everything with distortion and rendered the result so I could chop it which is kind of essential cause the chops have to be very on and off, no release or reverbe, something quite interesting in my opinion! thank you so much for listening heart

Thanks! It means a lot heart especially since I'm always a bit worried about the mix, I'm glad is coming out nicely based on your feedback smile

i have the adam A8X and here sounds really good , spot on i would say!!!

Love the sound design through out, particularly on the lead and the kick.  Super groovy track, and yeah... as stated above... no apologies required, it's a dope track.

Ohh yes, this is super dope! Love that huge kick snare with the tight breakbeat chops inbetween.
Synthwork is absolutely on point too, especially love that noise layered on the bass in the heavy sections.

I'm glad it works!! I also enjoyed the breakbeat chops, I will definitely experiment more with them. The bass got some heavy distortion and I believe a tiny touch of degrade to get that high freq noise smile

really nice job on this, the glitches and break core drums are really well done. feels like a sugar rush with how nice the melodies are!

Happy you liked it! I was quite unsure about how people would receive this track, this makes me more confident in experiment more in this style too heart

Really impressive how many elements you squeezed into this song. I like the glitchy sound to everything. It’s like a little crunch to the sweetness of the melody.
