Pretty happy about this one, especially cause the render is straight out of the M8!
I spent hours tweaking the EQ on the aiaiai headphones that I got at end of last year and it helped a lot for the mixdown, since I've been using akg forever I made them sound similar and it worked great! I even added just a little more bass in the EQ so I don't overdoit, hopefully..

I enjoyed the sound design of the 2 main synths, one is hypersynth for the chords and wavsynth for the froggy lead which I'm going to develop more for future tracks smile

Excited to dive deeper in creating better writing and arrangements now that the technical side feels more in place

Thank you for listening heart

Dude you are making these m8 jams sound BIG and the grind of that drop is so excellent! Good stuff :’)

this goes hard, nice one! big_smile

Wow. That main synth, I'm having trouble describing the sound, its like... shit. Well you know which one I mean. It is a new sound to me and I love it. It brought out the stank face immediately. I've been bumping this track several times in a row now. Definitely favorited.

This is so dope. That crunchy froggy stuttering section! OMG it's so good. Super curious how you made that sound. Love the vibe in this track; I was smiling through the whole thing. It's so fresh and crisp.

Super nice to hear it made you smile!! I wanted to make something on the happy side heart heart heart
Dealing with the headphones mix helped a lot to make sure the highs are present but not harsh! The limiter is doing a lot both on the sound itself and on the mixer. I used the wavsynth in the m8 and sequenced the scan and multi parameter so it sounds a little different and more or less aggressive depending on where it made more sense, also sequenced the limiter algo and used one more lfo to keep the sounds moving!

Reading your response to my comment I felt the need to clarify. It does not SOUND like "shit" at all. It sounds amazing. I wrote "shit" as in like "Shit... I have no idea how to describe this". Amazing work.

Ah man it makes me so happy to read you actually checked the loudness ahahah, I think I was able to make it hit around -3/4 but also decided to clip the usual -0.20 db for safety so I lost a bit on that smile

I'm still amazed that the m8 can deliver so well

Hyperwin for this week heart

Very nice. I agree with all the other comments. This one says if a zipper was a synth what would it sound like.

Bass music with the kind of joy I normally get from happy hardcore. Lovely vocal chops, and I really like the sweet-and-sour mix in the second buildup. But of course the drop is the center, with its dark and stretchy-sticky bass, gated swells like fast inhales, and the noise sweeps for a cool extra rhythm. Nice work!

That's actually a very good analogy, it def sounds like a zipper! Thinking about sampling a real one at this point heart

Glad to hear it brought you joy!! Goal was def to make it on the bright, positive side. Great description too! It shows how simple things can work well together heart Thank youu

The vocal cuts take this to the next level, sublime programming too, it's all so clean n balanced.

Thank you so much! I like to play with vocals a lot, but always in this cut/pitch way, altho it would be fun to have a singer once in a while..
