Introducing some new random and percussive elements this week. I bought a pretty nice random module (the frap tools Sapel), with the idea of introducing some variance into the symbols and snares. It also comes with four very nice sounding noise outputs, so I've been using those with the low-pass gates to create toms and even a tuned kick (combined with a sine wave from the STO).

Quite a bit of compression going on in this one, reverb too, although mostly on the highs.

I like the soft bass that you use on this track and how it mixes well with all the percussive elements. Very groovy, especially from 0:45 onwards.

this sounds awesome. Very random and therefore surprising and fresh.
