no need to listen to this one! I came down with a flu and just couldn't sustain my focus or creativity. so here's a breakbeat-inspired noise jam? I guess?

I was inspired hearing so many cool jungle and breakcore tracks here that I wanted to see what I could come up with. I experimented with a method for creating semi-random breakbeats on the nerdseq, randomizing row jumps and repeats. I was happy enough with the result.

I also wanted to incorporate a neat eurorack module I bought off facebook marketplace, the "Interstellar Radio" noise machine by Schlappi Electronics. It's lovely! Super fun, great sounds that replicate old radio transmission noise. I spent quite a while knob twiddling getting a feel for it, figuring out how I could work it in.

yeah, they can't all be winners!

ooooh noooooo this mix is TERRIBLE

I've been using the same workflow seamlessly over the last few weeks... something must have changed and I didn't catch it. Hmm maybe I'll try re-recording

I'd be interested to hear a re-recorded version! Most people seem to upload to youtube and then embed it in the description for this purpose.

It sounds fine to me as a "prelude", but the lack of bass means I kept waiting for the drop to arrive. Anyway, pretty cool breaks ...
