improv 11 — desert finding

improvising for Weekly Beats
my self-imposed limitations:
• digital piano as an input device (Yamaha P35)
• moderately limited warm-up before the recording
• no edits after the recording is made
• four VSTs for the year, one for each season
exploring improvisation as a practice of being here and now
monophony sucks and I didn't know this vst is monophonic so I recorded hands separately, applying the rules above
yeap, the right hand is basically just the noise
mental image: somewhere in a desert you can find sad fish statues

I like how context you provide with mental image changes the feel for me. With statues it's kind of mysterious as well. I would add that in my image this happens at night
