improv 27 -- night faces

Having returned from a trip, I realized that I forgot my laptop. Also, it was one hour before the deadline.

So. Here it comes. Raw piano. Right hand only.

Listening to this, I thought if something's wrong or why does it sound so quiet. Reading your description I understood immediately. Props for making the effort under unfavorable circumstances! smile

I like the way the piano is on the verge of disappearing--much like the original inspiration for Eno's Discreet Music.

It's nice, but I gotta ask: what's the left hand doing during all this?

Thank you for the kind words. I feel shameful a bit because of the volume. But anyway. It's done and the marathon continues.

Thank you! It was unintentional. Kudos for sharing the concept. I'll check out Discrete Music.

Holding the phone to record the improv. big_smile

I figured as such. Maybe next time you can put it down and play it two-handed; my melodica parts are all two-handed.

Happy accidents... low volume and right handed playing creates a specific effect. melancholy. Event hearing the action of the piano (I can hear the weighted action) gives it a distinctive percussive feel. I hope you got your lap top back!
