On last week's episode of Weeklybeats *insert that law and order 'dun-dun' sound* :

Awesome sounds, you make something very cool with a fairly limited set of instruments in play. Nice!

I took that as something of a challenge big_smile
- 2 VST synths (Minimoog and 303 clones)
- 1 Synthesised kick
- 1 rimshot
- 1 4-bar pattern per instrument
- 3 mixer FX busses
- A metric føcktonne of automation

I had SO much fun making this, I can only hope someone enjoys it just as much listening. Any and all feedback is welcome big_smile

This would work in a film for so many types scenes. Were any of the sounds from a V collection instrument?

Yep smile The moog sound was created using the mini V VST (in monophonic mode despite playing chords, automated the pitch coarses for osc2&3), the 303 clone is Image-Line Transistor Bass and the kick is a slightly modified Kick 2 patch. Rimm is unmodified 909 sample.

Further proof you dont need to cram so many instruments in to make something that slaps hard (looking at you, ME). This track got a real fucken attitude to it. Awesome!

awesome title & track!
