Goal at start 5/12
Choose a reference song with layers that I can understand and try to replicate that set up.

I’m pleased with the result of this week (could have been worse). I was more in the groove of focusing on the emotion of the melodies from the beginning, so I think that’s why it worked out.
Plan for next week
I might need to pick something easy for next week, like an ambient song or something without a lot of rhythm. There are some other things I need to get caught up on so I’ll leave the option open to dial back a bit next week.
