Goal at start:
Focus on rhythm to whatever extent you’re able.

End notes:
Getting rhythm into my beats is something I consistently struggle with. Any time I try to make something high energy it always comes out lethargic and slow. This week was no exception, though I feel like I was able to push things forward just slightly with this one.
I waited until Wednesday to start this and finalized it on Friday. It would seem that is not enough time to try multiple loop ideas or iterations to make something that actually aligns with my goal for that song. This week I mostly just hit the ground running with one loop idea and stuck with it to the end because I didn’t have time for more experimentation.

Action plan for next week: Start on Tuesday in order to have a longer experimentation process. Continue to focus on rhythm and sound selection.

I have a hard time adding too many confusing rhythms sometimes. Having to cut stuff out to create space. But you leave space quite well. The bass is raunchy and lofi. Even though it's slow in tempo, the syncopation is still there and noticed.

Like it. All the arps/bleeps work very well with bell melody. Spacious reverb giving it much needed warmth --unsure about the synth lead thou, for me it clashes too much with the tonality of the track. Peace!
