Week 25
Goal at start 6/16:
Repeat goals from week 23, with an emphasis on assessing genre as the song takes form, and sound selection based on how the sounds work together with each other.
End notes 6/19:
I’m starting to notice how much the rhythmic aspect of my melodies is a weak spot, so I’ll try to have a greater awareness of this moving forward.
Plan for next week:
Another thing I’m starting to understand is that one beat a week just isn’t cutting it.
I need to start doing rough sketches of melodies for practice in addition to my main project for the week. Therefore my goal for next week will be to make one rough sketch, melody with only practice beat.
