Focus on layers

This is one of the simpler songs I’ve done this year. For the whole song it just has two pad layers, one lead, one bass, plus a kick and a clap. Nonetheless it feels as full as anything else I’ve made. Moving forward I might try to reference more trance music to see how layers are handled in that genre.
Plan for next week:
Continue focus on layers. Choose a reference song where you can understand what’s going on with the layers and try to replicate that.
