Wow, this song goes back about 20 years. I wrote this in our old studio, a former military base, on electric guitar with lots of FX from some Korg unit I had at the time. Or maybe it was my Ensoniq DP-4. I had taken jazz guitar lessons at the time and was into finding a chord or two and just going with it. Anyway, I remember it was a song about the cold. I don't have the original recording any more since we just a bunch of Akai 4-track HD recorders at the time, but the tune stuck with me over the years.

Re-recorded in 2015 in Cincinnati.

Remixed and arranged in 2016 in Schwerin.

Steel guitar, vocals, udu.

I remember clearly the sung melody from our first moments in January. This one sounds a little bit more uplifting, and the arrangement is really really beautiful!

Extra points for the Ableton Resonator on vocals smile

Slowly catching up with your songs during January'17. Maybe this comment comes a little bit late, but it's really great to hear a whole year of your songs smile
