Moving

Here's a very very rough draft of a song I've been working on for a few weeks.  I haven't been in the right mindset to put in the effort to do any real performances (vocals, bass, guitar), so those tracks pretty cringy place holders.  Sorry!

Bonus points if anyone knows where the sampled spoken word is from in the bridge.

**Fantastic!  I was hoping there'd be some awful problem with bouncing just before deadline.  Not sure why a shit ton of delay is being added to the master, but I will try and figure that out and see if its possible to reupload.

***Update: Found a workaround but it looks like I can't update the file.  I'll upload this one whenever I can actually finish it.  Don't bother listening to this version.

Too late, I've already listened and enjoyed this song. I love submerging myself in this delay and you can't stop me.

Started listening before I read the description and then didn't want to stop.  I hate when weird unexpected technical stuff happens on my stuff, but as an outside observer the mega-delay seems to create a trippy feel that is kind of cool in its own right even if it wasn't what you intended with this song.

I was wondering about the delay, thinking this was an interesting production choice, with some psychedelic result. But apparently that was not intentional. smile

dittoing the commentary that the heavy delay doesn't feel wrong.  maybe not what you meant to do, but a good vibe on its own.

especially put next to the wonky chopped up vox in that other section.  (i'm assuming that was intentional?  if not, how the hell did you manage to do that accidentally lmao)

Love the sense of rhythmic chaos in this one. Great work!

haha, the delay is genius: it highlights how serene and floaty the verses are compared to the busy feel of the other parts(busy in a good way, tho)... and overall the song is so groovy the general/appropriate feel carries through so strong no matter what: keepin it movin' big_smile
