Interesting comment, good ear! I didn't perceive noticeable quietness... maybe that's because my songs are always mega too quiet, so comparatively this one was fine.
Tryna listen...Sounded like the first bit had an intentional filter on it, then when the bass kicks in it's maybe a little overcompressed if anything? I'm very curious. I know there are a lot of great tools out there, haven't tried em, computer's probably too old...
I liked the clave sound (?) especially!!!!
