Doomatic - Roseanne Hits The Bong

shitty doom track, first attempt at recording something with instruments that aren't synths. probably not great

I used amplitube 3 to model some orange amps, I recorded a few different variations of low gain tones some were panned, others were centered. Once they were recorded I used vtape for a bit of saturation on each track. I used an svt model in amplitube for the bass and threw a bit of distortion on it but not too much. The drums are from the funk pack of ezdrummer, they are compressed to hell and tape saturated with vtape. I don't recommmend ezdrummer however, it sounds good but its too quiet and has really stupid limitations for multitracking. I use my epiphone flying with an EMG to record all the guitar parts and some cheap ibanez bass for the bass, everything was recorded in ableton live.

This is totally like early queen but heavier.

sweet Jesus yes! I've been looking forward to this all week and it delivered. Absolutely love it

awesome fuzz tone loving the old school grindhouse vibe

Doooooooooom.  Chunky guitar!  Is it your playing?  Cool drum glitch

This is totally cool!  What'd you use for those crunchy fuzz tones?

Oh yeah.  Love the stoner sludge.

used to be in a stoner rock band, pretty convincing! nice riffs too lol

the one section is a little too obviously compressed though, unless you were going for a slight parody

which section?

God damn, love this and the super compressed drums, yeah!

FUCKING SAVAGE! I seriously love doom, can't believe someone did one. I'm a huge fan of electric wizard, etc., nice!

Violent!
Must be cool and certainly much better to hear and see it in live ^^
