Escape Pod

This track came together very quickly, but I was missing the melody in the first verse until about friday night when I cooked it up rather quickly as well. To me this track feels like a sequel/alternate continuation to my 2023 track 'Slow Collision' wherein a spaceship gets locked into a collision course with an asteroid and unfortunately crashes. Here, I played with the idea of the ship being saved by a laser-shooting hero, like the classic arcade game Asteroids.
Another really old and obscure ChillBitz track also makes an appearance during one of the transmissions. I think maybe only one person is going to recognize it, but it felt thematically fitting to include it and stretch it out.
