Untitled Interlude: F

Here's a quick, little experimental piece. My buddy has a vibraphone at his house in Austin, TX that I played with while I was in town last week. So, I recorded a few ideas with that and added a piano sound sampled from my grandmother's piano. The frog sounds were recorded in an Austin greenbelt.
Once I got home, I ended up adding some synth and drum machine stuff and blended it up a bit in Ableton.
Thanks again for listening smile

Sounds awesome.  I like the field recordings you've been using of frogs and owls and whatnot.  They sound really cool and the recording quality of them is excellent as well.  It's also always awesome to be able to utilize old pianos owned by grandparents.

I have a sneaking suspicion I might know this guy with the vibraphone...

Diggin the playful and refreshing melody. The part beginning abput halfway through is so gorgeous. Excellent!

Love it! As relaxing as the wii menu!

Nice and playful. I love the tone of the vibraphone!

this has a really cool sound to it and I like how you broke it down with the stutter effects.  The vibraphone itself sounds suhweet.  The frogs give it that special something smile  Just curious what do you use for your field recordings?  I'm just stuck with my iPhone when i think of it.  Nice work!

For most of my field recordings, I use my iPhone, too. I do have a Zoom H4n, but I don't always have it with me, smile
