no sleep high

By cfurrow on May 13, 2018 11:50 pm

I made this last saturday night after getting almost no sleep over 48 hrs. Weirdly, I don't remember where the voice sample comes from or what it means.
instruments: op1 and kalimba. recorded and finished in op1.

I think this nicely captures the fuzzy feeling of lack of sleep and also beer and weed.  smile  The mysterious vocal sample is kind of soothing and spooky at the same time.  I like it.

An excellent suspension of time and space. Very effective.

Heh. That sudden burst at the end certainly snapped the mood. ::)

While chilling in the song I was waiting for the ultimative burst, but it only was a little puff.

I really enjoyed this!
Intense and distant at the same time...
