Goofy super sentai influenced thing I started this week without intending it to be for Weekly Beats. A friend wanted a Power Rangers inspired opening theme for her YouTube show and I misunderstood that that actually meant American POWER RANGERS. Whoops! It kinda ended up sounding more like in-game sentai parody music than something authentic sounding, anyway.

Was meant to have real instruments when it was going to be her theme music, but for the sake of Weekly Beats, I kept it to Alesis SR-16 for almost all of the drums, Yamaha MU50, Emu Xtreme Lead-1, Roland XV5080, and Roland S-550 with a few soft synths.

This is amazing. I'm so glad you stuck with the synth instrumentation.

super fun! definitely super sentai-esque, nailed it wink

Taste my blade!! HI-YAAA!
Love it dude

Feels pretty mellow actually.

This is on-point and a ton of fun!

Awesome stuff!  I like the heroic over-the-top-ness of it!

Loooove that Alesis SR-16 !!  Hehehe.... certainly has a kids TV show sound about it.  You just need to run it to VHS and dub it a few times at high volumes :-D   Great bell sounds... and dat guitar... hehehehe.

Ack! Thank you so much everyone! I'm glad there's ears out there for my tacky ways! This is like the music I'm not allowed to tell people I make.

heart

I can get down to this!

Definetely this would be sick with a couple of rebounces through VHS goodness. Sentai !!!

You know, after years of waffling on it myself, and multiple people telling me how cool it could sound, VHS mastering is definitely going to happen on some future shoujo and sentai inspired work. I just need to figure out why the heck my VCR recently went missing...
