Icepick

By Catthew O. on April 22, 2018 11:58 pm

Rappelling from a hole in the cavern ceiling with nothing but an icepick and some rations, you take stock of what surrounds you. This cave is cold and unforgiving, untouched by any living human, and absolutely beautiful. The weight of its sublimity takes hold and you nearly forget to breathe. Light from the opening above sends shimmering light through the massive crystalline pillars of ice. When your survival instincts kick back in, the amount of apparent movement from the glittering may well be enough to startle you. You'll probably remember why you're down here when your feet touch the ground.

The description really matches the music well.  I can totally picture this scenario in my head while listening.

I love the excitement in this song, though I personally picture a regular rock cave before an ice one.
